Pet Sitting
- It is the clients responsibility to provide any and all food and provisions necessary to carry out the service.
- The client must explain all the details related to feeding and housing of their pet(s).
- Your sitter offers the following complimentary services with Pet Sitting: bringing in mail and newspapers, putting out and bringing in rubbish bins on the appropriate days, watering plants. This will be discussed during the complimentary Meet & Greet.
- While this pet sitting service ensures your pet is well cared for, it does not imply constant supervision unless advised otherwise. Your pet may be left alone for short periods while the sitter attends to other daily commitments.
- Your sitter will administer basic medication but must be fully informed and shown how the medication is to be given.
- Your sitter does not accept cheques for payments. All expecting payments are notified to you via invoice.
- After due notice, overdue accounts will be referred to our Debt Collection Agency and further charges will be levied in respect of costs incurred in collecting the debt.
Public Liability Policy
- The client agrees to notify the sitter of any concerns within 24 hours of returning home.
- Your sitter shall not be held responsible for pets that bite, suffer an accidental death or escape from faulty fencing or inside the home due to faulty screens, doors, etc.
- Your sitter shall not be held responsible for fines, levies by council, police or other authorities pertaining to animal behaviour and regulations.
- Your sitter shall not be held responsible for any complications pets may suffer or actions of pets while they are briefly unattended.
- Your sitter shall not be held responsible for the loss, injury, death, or actions of any pet that the client has let outside or has instructed your sitter to allow outside whilst they are not there. This includes pets with doggie doors and outdoor pets.
- Your sitter reserves the right to move an outdoor pet to shelter in the event of extreme temperatures/weather.
- The client understands that all pets (where appropriate) must have their veterinarian details on file.
- The clients understands that all pets (where appropriate) must be up to date on appropriate flea treatments, vaccinations and medications.
- Client agrees to reimburse your sitter for all costs (including, but not limited to, medical care) associated with contracting any ailments while exposed to pet(s).
- Your sitter will not sit for acutely ill animals or those will uncontrolled medical conditions. We suggest the pet be boarded with a vet.
- The client is responsible for any and all costs associated with any and all emergency visits to a vet plus additional time taken.
- Your sitter does not accept aggressive animals. Client agrees to be responsible for all costs (including, but not limited to, medical care, legal fees, etc) if clients pet should bite/injure another person or animal.
- Your sitter does not diagnose or provide prognoses. Any veterinary/medical concerns will be referred to a veterinarian. However, we will advise when and if we identify a possible problem to the best of our ability.
- Your sitter accepts no responsibility for negligence of any kind to home or pet(s) where entry to premises is given to a friend, relative, neighbour or any other party, including but not limited to Real Estate Agents, Cleaners and/or Tradesmen.
Keys and Home Safety
- Your sitter makes every effort to pick-up clients house keys at the complimentary Meet & Greet, if this is not possible, keys can be collected on arrival or if they are in a safe and hidden spot.
- The client will ensure that alarm procedure is fully explained and understood at the time of the Meet & Greet.
- However, if for whatever reason the alarm should be tripped, all associated costs are the responsibility of the client.
- It is the clients responsibility to ensure their pets will be safe when left at home.
- The client must inform the sitter if the premises is under close circuit or direct stream image recording.
Payment and Cancellations
- The payment methods acceptable are bank transfer via invoice.
- Invoices are sent out immediately after confirming booking and are not due until 48 hours before booking commences.
- A 20% deposit is required once invoice is delivered to your email.
- Cancellations before 48 hours of booking are refundable. Deposits is not refundable.
- Any extensions to the original accomodation period will be paid at the time of extending the stay.
- No refunds will be offered for early collections.
- Please note that all Public Holidays will incur a 20% surcharge. Additionally, a travel fee ranging from $20 to $40 will be charged for bookings over 30km away from the sitters location.
I agree to photos of my pet(s) to be used on social media forums such as website, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
I the owner as stated, have read, understand, agree and acknowledge the Terms and Conditions of JEDDA Pet Care. I agree to the booking cancellation fees and any additional costs that may occur while under the care of JEDDA Pet Care. I agree for my dog to mix and socialise with other dogs, and understand the risks involved (unless advised otherwise). I have advised all details which could affect the care by or to my pets. The pets owner remains liable for all costs associated with all damages by or to my pets and JEDDA Pet Cares property. Change of details or booking alterations must be notified in writing.
